HOMESICK

In John 14:2-3 Jesus said, In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would not have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

My citizenship is in heaven. This world is no longer my home. I am just a pilgrim passing through this land called earth. My true citizenship, my true home is in heaven, and from it I await my Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform my lowly body to be like His glorious body (Philippians 3:20-21).

Yes! My Lord Jesus Christ, is already there preparing a place for me (John 14:2-3). I long for my heavenly home. I can just imagine the joyous reunion that awaits me there!

So now I desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one, where God is not ashamed to be called my God, for He has prepared for me a city (Hebrews 11:16).

The closer I get to God in His word the more sick I become with longing and cry out in my pain, “if you find my Beloved, please tell Him I am sick of love” (Song of Solomon 5:8).

For in this body I groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with my house which is from heaven (2 Corinthians 5:2).

All of creation groans and travails in pain together with me.  I groan within myself, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of my body (Romans 8:21-23).

For now I am torn between the two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ, which is far better, but for now it is better that I stay for my family to try and win them to Jesus (Philippians 1:23-24).

Until then God, You are my God and I will look for You. My soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You as if I am in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. Yes, I will bless You while I live, I will lift up my hands in Your Name (Psalms 63:1-4).

My soul yearns for You in the night and early in the morning will my spirit seek You (Isaiah 26:9).

Whom do I have in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart, He is mine forever! (Psalms 73:25-26).

I long for God, my soul thirst for God, the living God! When can I go and stand before Him? (Psalms 42:1-2).

Yes! The Lord is continually with me, He holds me by my right hand. He shall guide me with His counsel, and afterwards He will receive me to glory (Psalms 73:23-24).

And now until then to God and my Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen!

SCRIPTURES ABOUT A CHILD OF THE LIGHT

ARE YOU A CHILD OF THE LIGHT?

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 3:19-21 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 5:35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

Luke 11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

Psalms 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Psalms 37:6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Isaiah 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Luke 2:32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

John 12:36 While you have light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

In John 3:19-21, Jesus explains the reason that people do not believe and follow Him. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

An unsaved man loves his sin and remains unsaved due in part because he refuses to give his sin up. He might understand the need to be saved, but he will not come to the light in repentance and forsake his sin. The love of sin is the mark of a lost man.

The Bible clearly teaches that when a man is saved his life is drastically changed, yet there are so many who profess to be the children of God whose lives remain virtually unaltered. The key in determining who is truly a Christian and who is not can be revealed by the way they live their lives and their attitude toward sin.

1 John 1:5-6 This is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth.

It is one thing to believe truth but it is another to do truth. In a biblical sense, truth is not only thinking and believing, but also doing or acting. We must follow truth as well as believe it. Truth always illuminates the soul. Darkness is the absence of light,. Wherever there is no light, there is darkness. Truth resides in the translucent atmosphere where we can see our impurities against the absolute character of God.

Those who claim to fellowship with God but continue in sin, just kid themselves. They are not in fellowship. A crucial element to the Christian life is the recognition and acknowledgment of our sin. Walking in the light means that we are open to God. We are not afraid to expose any aspect of our lives to Him. God cannot fellowship with us while we have unconfessed sin in our lives.

Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.

Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

In other words, since we are children of light, we are to live like we are a part of the “light”, not separated from it! This “light” is the light the Lord brings to the sin-darkened and hell-bound sinner. Because you have been delivered from darkness and have been made children of the light, you have an obligation to, “walk as children of light.”

1 John 2:8-11 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Again…

Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.

Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Walt Disney and Sorcery

Children, Walt Disney Pictures, and Sorcery (Magic)

·         *Sorcery – the use of magical powers that are obtained through evil spirits.
·    *Magic – a power that allows people (such as witches and wizards) to do impossible things by saying                                 special words or performing special actions.

Deuteronomy 18:10-14 There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or is daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

§    *Divination – witchcraft, the practice of using signs (such as an arrangement of tea leaves or cards) or special powers to predict the future.
§       *Observer of times – someone who practices magic.
§       *Enchanter – one who uses spells or magic, a sorcerer or wizard.
§       *Witch – a person who practices magic.
§       *Charmer – someone that is believed to have magic powers to prevent bad luck.
§       *Familiar spirit – a spirit or demon that serves or prompts an individual, a necromancer.
§       *Wizard – sorcerer, magician, one who is skilled in magic or who has magical powers.
§    *Necromancer – one who evokes the dead, the practice of talking to the spirits of dead people, magic, sorcery.
§       *Sorcerer – someone who practices sorcery.

12 For all that do these things are an abomination (extreme disgust or loathing) unto the LORD…

14 For these nations, which you shall possess, gives heed to observers of times, and to diviners, but as for you, the Lord thy God has not permitted you to do so. (Paraphrased by me)

The Bible clearly states that God does not permit us to practice magic. Notice that verse 10 says “or that uses” meaning we should not use any source, be it a person or book or movie or cartoon, that practices or performs magic.

And what is Disney all about? What do you always hear? ABOUT THE MAGIC OF DISNEY! Mickey Mouse, the wizard. God says NO, and Disney says YES, it's all good!

2 Kings 17:17 And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight.

Leviticus 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

When you allow your children to participate or practice or observe or have anything to do with magic you cause them and yourself to provoke God unto anger. Are you causing your son or daughter to “pass through the fire?”

The LORD goes on to say in Leviticus verse 7 and 8, “Sanctify your selves therefore, and be ye holy, for I am the LORD your God. And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

Sanctify yourself from wizards, witches, familiar spirits, and such that perform magic, and the LORD will sanctify you.

Isaiah 8:19, 20, 22 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? For the living to the dead?

20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.   (This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all 1 John 1:5.)

If you seek after familiar spirits and magic, and seek not after God’s laws and commands, according to His word there is no light in you.

22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

If you allow you or children to fellowship with darkness (Disney with all it’s magic) you will cause yourself and them to be driven to darkness, away from the Light which is God. In darkness is trouble, extreme suffering, grief, and pain.

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. If we say we have fellowship with God, and fellowship with darkness, then we are liars and do not know the truth.

Many parents today close their minds to what they introduce their children to today simply because it is a good baby sitter. They laugh it off, shrug their shoulders, close their eyes, mute their hearing, only because they are afraid their children will have nothing to do if they take their cartoons from them. They cannot tell their children “no.” But it is our duty as parents to guard and protect our children not only from physical harm but spiritual harm as well.

Magic is a powerful and real force in the Disney Multiverse. The Disney Multiverse is the fan term to refer to the whole union of all Disney Animated Cartoons. In the mainstream Disney Multiverse, the history of humanity is the same as that of the real world, except that it includes fantasy elements, like sorcerers, gods, and magical creatures. Read www.disney.wikia.com/wiki/Disney_Multiverse it will blow you away!

A growing number of people are becoming engrossed in various forms of spiritualism, and its varied forms such as magic, sorcery, and astrology. From as apparently innocent sources such as Disney studios with all its animated witchcraft and sorceries, to cartoons depicting the Smurf dad and Mickey Mouse being a wizard, children are being drawn into the occult at an amazing speed.

Almost every single cartoon produced by Disney that I have observed practices magic. It started out many years ago with shows such as, just to name a few: Cinderella, she had a fairy Godmother with a magic wand. Snow White, she was poisoned with an apple by her evil stepmother who had a magic mirror. There was Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, and many more.

Today there is, Dora the Explorer, Tinker Bell, Elsa and Anna from Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, Aladdin, Sophia the First, and many, many more, they all practice magic in some fashion. Even today’s Barbie is practicing magic. Children witnessing “magic” even in make believe are taken further away from God and led to believe he/she has some sort of control by supernatural mystical powers. It’s deception, darkness, and evil – plain and simple.

Disney is corrupting our children through the disguise of make believe and fun. It is clearly a trick of the devil. You may argue your children know its make-believe, but it is the first step to introducing them to the occult and satan. Some may grow up and see no harm into delving further into the arts.

Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer (permit) little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shall teach them unto thy children, and shall talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

The Bible clearly teaches for us not to forbid our children to come to Jesus. We are to tell them of God’s laws and commands (even the ones about where God forbids magic). We are to teach them when? We shall constantly talk of them, when we sit down with them, when we walk with them, when we lie down with them, when we rise up in the morning with them. NOT sit them before cartoons that teach against God’s commands!

Will your children be happy that you took these things? NO! The devil is deceiving them with the allure of fun and magic, and it is our job as parents to rear them up in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). We are told in Proverbs that foolishness is in the heart of a child but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him (Proverbs 22:15). We are also told to discipline our children while there is still hope and not give in to their tears, because if we discipline them we save their souls from hell (Proverbs 19:18, Proverbs 23:13-14).

Don’t be the reason (your lack of discipline) to cause your children to suffer God’s anger. God will not excuse you or your children just because it was all done in make believe or fun! If you continue to hand them over to Disney you will be no different than, 2 Kings 17:17 And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. Therefore the LORD was very angry, and removed them out of his sight.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and socerers, and whoremongers, and murders, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

In the scripture above it says that no one that works abomination will enter into the kingdom of heaven. Let me again remind you what Duet. 18:12 says, “For all that do these things are an ABOMINATION unto the LORD.” What things? To have anything to do with things concerning witches, wizards, and magic. Does that not apply to Disney?
